About

Clarinetist, teacher, mom.

I studied clarinet at the Eastman School of Music, where I received my Bachelor of Music (clarinet performance and music education, 2006) and Master of Music (clarinet performance, 2007) degrees in wonderful, cold Rochester, NY.

I’ve taught clarinet for 17 years, and have 9 years of experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school clarinet students in Northern Virginia.

I’m currently a member of The U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” (2013-present). I served in The U.S. Army Field Band from 2010-2013. Serving my country through music is my greatest professional accomplishment, and I am proud to serve.

If you start clarinet lessons with me, you’ll quickly be introduced to my three amazing daughters (ages 10, 8, and 4), fellow Soldier-musician and world’s best husband Nick, and our dog Bodhi, who is best described as a stuffed animal who came to life.
